Galway is the most friendly city in Ireland and Ireland is a very friendly country so that should mean something and explaining to you the type of occasion you will have in Galway. We have a 3 hour walk around the City which goes through the city’s history of course but also is it good tour to  introduce yourself to the city in general.  But specifically speaking, my Focus during this tour is to reveal to you the little details which make it go away interesting and charming.

It often happens that along the way I meet local characters who know me and I do like to introduce you to them, I also like to introduce you to the music and the art of the culture of the city.  Then besides to writers, the artist and legends from Irish history who lived in Galway, we will of course meet local musicians and crafts people. Another interesting side to Galway is food, Galway has a fantastic history of Good Food especially Seafield.  But then there are local places to eat which don’t particularly have amazing food but our place is full of character and atmosphere so I like to bring you there to.

Eyre Square

That’s basically the direction of the tour, from the Claddagh in Galway Bay to Eyre Square. I talked about Ireland and Galway during the famine, then World War II, and of course heroine fight for independence then Ireland’s Civil War. I will talk to you about the emergency, JFK’s surprise visit to Galway, go away also has a strong viking background so we will walk through some of those old cobblestone streets.

Galway is known as the city of the tribes, at one point people of Galway were enslaved, and the Claddagh is it on Kingdom with a king, all of this I will be talking to you about when we meet
