Who are we? Established in 2004, Angel Tours is in 13 cities and has years of experience. Created and still steered by Irish man Sean T O Sallaigh, this company has purposefully grown slowly into cities chosen not for their street value but because they are very human cities that have grown fond in the heart, memory and soul of Sean T. Called Angel Tours because Sean T feels that an Angel is a being which protects, guides and befriends us in our lives journeys. They say you know a person by the friends they keep, well then you know Angel Tours by the cities that Sean T has chosen, reflecting the ancient, wise, cultural, beautiful, spiritual and fun elements which give generously to our experience of travel.

The use of an umbrella as a meeting beacon, the golf buggy tour, and imparting historical facts in ” story telling fashion” are ideas first created by Sean T. Focusing on small groups, using Irish guides ( natural story tellers ) being flexible and keeping the business small are key components to the success we celebrate every time we complete a guests itinerary and leave them feeling satisfied.

Dublin

• Taxi drivers can be trusted
• Temple bar is no longer Cultural it’s now a capitalism hotspot.
• The Icon Factory in Temple Bar is the best place to buy local art
• The Icon walk is a good glimpse into the character of Ireland
• Almost every guide in Dublin is top class even our competitors, I recommend our competitors called Splash Tours and the open bus in Dublin is great too. The guides selling tours at the entrance to Trinity college are hipster but good
• If you email me I will recommend bars but you need to promise to be discreet in my bars.
• Otherwise Temple Bar is full of bars, they just dont have any Irish in them.
• Ignore beggars in Dublin; donate to The Fr. Peter McVerry trust instead
• A day trip by Dart to Howth and Greystones is worth it
• Avoid souvenir shops, unless you do actually want Irish Chinese plastics
• Balla Ban art gallery sells Irish art and you can negotiate costs
• Moore Street reveals a genuine interaction with locals, buy a few apples etc and you can buy really cheap crap stolen cigerates there too.

Galway

• Oh now you’re going to have fun. Again email me for my bar recommendations
• Riordans restaurant on the Quay Street is perfect but don’t expect the red carpet rolled out, just behave, otherwise your going to be kicked out by the lady owner who has enough local trade and doesn’t give a sh1t about online reviews
• Katie’s Cottage in The Claddagh is the place to buy art and crafts and they offer Cultural events.
• The Culture Ship in The Claddagh is sponsored by Angel Tours and you can find art events there in 2018 if Padraig Gorm can keep the ship from sinking.
• Our strongest competitor Brian Nolan is our favourite competitor, Galway Walks.

Aran Islands

• Kilronan hostel on Aran Mor is the best hostel experience I ever had

Roundwood and The Wicklow Way: we do this tour better than anyone I have met

Robert Kennedy runs a wonderful self catering lodge alone the Wicklow Way he is a local who knows all the best beauty spots so do look him up https://www.roundwoodhostel.com/

Morocco

In Morocco we have great contacts, our local contact is Simo a well educated and totally trustworthy local who speaks a few languages.  He is based is Essaouira although he does know the whole country well. We can put you in touch with him

I love and know Morocco well, if your going there whatsapp or email me, really I have great contacts and will offer you sledgehammer honest advice which will be needed.

Renting a car in Morocco and driving is very easy, the roads are good the police are much better behaved than before and I found the perfect car agency, no hidden charges, good cars and excellent very professional services http://www.samicar.com/

Trains in Morocco are well run and ok enough but the buses are very good.  Two bus services are great

Supratours and CTM are the fastest and best, the websites are useless you have to call them for times, go to the station (early) to buy tickets with cash

you can get other cheap bus in each city these stop everywhere are mostly used by locals and cant be tough

Rome

• Even official taxi drivers have a bad rep
• It’s best to prebook drivers and Uber still functions
• The guys dressed as Roman centurions generally can’t be trusted
• People selling tours and tickets near the Colosseum and vatican are offering a good service if you don’t already have tickets and tours pre booked
• Anyone practicing sanity won’t try to enter the collossem or vatican on free days
• The hotel Lancelot and Santa Chiara are excellent
• Contact us for restaurant recommendations
• Day trips to Villages around Rome are worth doing, especially Frascati and Marino
• Trastevere is the eating district, good for local restaurants and night markets on the street
• The best introduction drive around all of Rome is our Golf Cart Eco tour
• Get to the collossem early and the Vatican late, generally speaking of course

Venice

Venice
What a beautiful beautiful​ Italain​ town. But I always have believed that there are only two types of people sleeping in  Venice, the stinking rich and tourists.
You never need to pay a fortune for the water taxi or water bus, actually the whole place can be walked.
Don’t bring a wheelchair or stroller, unless you want to do a few days of weight lifting too
Go from November to March the other months are not too busy or too hot
I have not yet found a place to eat which takes pride in food
Never had a real Italain ice cream in Venice
There are great bars Spritz,. a typical summer drink
The best town in Italy to get lost and wander around
I like the story of Harry’s bar, look lt up
San Marco is extraordinary
Local people who commute into the town each day are very nice
Large group tours should be banned
Do a trip to Burano, you will love it
When the city is flooded it’s a great site and good fun
Airbnb in Venice is the best I have had anywhere
It’s the most beautiful city in the world to sit and play with your phone

Amsterdam

What a great City, after you stop thinking about porn, nudity and pot this city has so much more to offer, I love this travel writer whose name is Tea and who writes extensively about culture and other worth while happenings, her fbook page is not at all boring like other crap you read on pages
