Become a local for the day. Environmentally friendly, Clean Energy Driving Tours This is a semi walking Rome tour. We hire small electric cars like the ones used on a golf course. This tour is magic, kids really love it. But book fast as it fills really quickly because we can only get our hands on a few electric cars. We start at 2:30pm (1 pm from November – March) and ask one or two of you to take turns driving; Please bring your driver's license. Don't worry it's an easy route avoiding the worse traffic. This Rome tour with EcoCityTours is ~4 hours long, stopping for ice cream or coffee. No beer for drivers.

Sites covered

Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, Piazza Venezia, St. Peter's Square, Gianicolo Hill, A secret garden, Isola Tiberina, Mouth of Truth, Circus Maximus, The Colosseum, and much more that crosses your way like the The Pantheon or Castel St. Angelo. We don't rush and we do stop at most of the sights mentioned, we get out of the car, walk you around, you will get explanations and get a feeling for the sights by foot. There is not enough time to enter sights like Castel S.Angelo or the Colosseum but we enter the Pantheon, the secret garden of course, walk the piazzas, St. Peter's Square, Gianicolo Hill, have a look through the keyhole etc.

Meeting point

Our meeting point is the exit of the escalator of metro stop Spagna/Villa Borghese. Enter metro stop Spagna and follow the signs "Villa Borghese", long long escalators will bring you (uphill!) to the meeting point.
Just walk a few meter along the road until the big arch and turn right and walk through the arch, you will see the guide and meeting point!

Your guide will be holding a yellowish umbrella with angels on it! No entrance fees on that tour but we might stop for ice cream!
